The Walt Disney Company, commonly known as Disney, is an American multinational mass media and entertainment conglomerate headquartered at the Walt Disney Studios complex in Burbank, California. It is the world’s second largest media conglomerate in terms of revenue, after Comcast.

Disney was founded on October 16, 1923, by Walt Disney and Roy O. Disney as the Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio. The company initially focused on producing short animated films, but later expanded into other areas such as theme parks, feature-length films, and television shows.

The company’s first major success came in 1928 with the release of the animated short film Steamboat Willie, which featured the first appearance of the iconic character Mickey Mouse. This was followed by other successful shorts such as The Three Little Pigs (1933) and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937), the latter of which was the company’s first feature-length animated film.

Disney continued to produce successful animated films throughout the 1940s and 1950s, such as Pinocchio (1940), Fantasia (1940), and Cinderella (1950). In 1955, the company opened its first theme park, Disneyland, in Anaheim, California. The park was an immediate success and became a model for future theme parks around the world.

In the 1960s, Disney expanded its operations into television, launching the anthology series Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Color in 1961. The company also began producing live-action films, such as Mary Poppins (1964) and The Jungle Book (1967).

Disney continued to grow in the 1970s and 1980s, launching the Disney Channel in 1983 and acquiring a number of companies, such as Pixar Animation Studios, Marvel Entertainment, and Lucasfilm. In 1995, Disney launched a new theme park, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, in Florida.

okay we just finished covering a lot of

indexes let’s do a company real quick

you know let’s do a you know a singular

company this next company we’re going to

be looking at is

Disney Great Blue Chip company

everyone’s familiar with them love them

uh what is it that we see in Disney

right well let’s start by looking at

their financials

their financials in 2017 where’s my

there it is 2017 they had a profit

margin of 16.34 in 2018 they had a

profit margin of 21.18 in 2019 they had

a profit margin of 15.92 percent in 2020

they had a profit margin of 4.4 or

negative 4.4 percent and then in 2021

they had a profit margin of 2.96 as you

can see their profit margin has pulled

back a little bit but their revenue has

remained the same just operating costs

mainly

um new investment Endeavors et cetera as

you can see we are starting to see this

rebound represented by the purple line

and as a result we’re going to see

earnings reports continue to do better

and better and better and show growth

relative to their previous quarter

so that’s one thing that has gone for it

what else is that going for well let’s

look at the RSI we’re looking at a

monthly always make sure you’re keeping

in the keeping in mind the time frame is

being used you can tell that by looking

at this little M or this little W up

here right next to the company symbol

right now we are looking at the monthly

right here we have the monthly 180

moving average represented by this dark

blue line typically this tends to act as

a support as you’ve seen across a wide

variety of the content we’ve covered

here and it’s no different for Disney

ever since their IPO this company has

only grown has only grown it has never

shown signs of Decay currently up 87 000

it it’s a Titan in U.S economics very

reputable

and I wouldn’t expect that to change

anytime soon another thing it has going

for it is the RSI the RSI is something

we apply to every symbol it is that we

look at here on this channel

as you see it’s currently oversold near

that 30 Mark towards the bottom end of

that RSI that’s typically a buy

indicator you want to be getting in when

things are oversold right you know Buy

Low sell high right

uh to add weight to that indicator to

further explain the RSI right here in

April

first 2021 the RSI was overbought

peeking out right RSI was on the top end

closer to that 70 and what proceeded to

happen after that well it proceeded to

sell off makes sense makes sense before

that the RSI was at the bottom close to

that 30 oversold right

and what happened here

well it proceeded to run over a hundred

and twenty percent

makes a lot of sense in 2009 right here

right here RSI oversold touching that 30

at the bottom end of the RSI what

happened after that it proceeded to run

as much as 600 percent

I would probably say one seven I would

probably consider these two or two runs

personally so that would be 170 in 2009

and then here we have 2011 RSI oversold

near that green 30 point from there it

ran 300 it it’s just uh it happens so

often

fundamentally what does Disney have

going for it they have their new Disney

streaming service Disney plus they’re

releasing uh

New Jedi series and all of that you know

definitely want to look into they have

their theme parks I quite like Disney

very blue chip name very household

company everyone knows it

one of my favorite so they definitely

wanted to look into if you haven’t

already
